PIT BULL BRANDS, LLC (and our brands “PIT BULL", "Pit Bull Tires,” “Pit Bull Tire Company,” “Pit Bull Brands,” “BRAVEN OFFROAD", "BRAVEN",” “Pit Bull,”) values its customers and is committed to protecting and respecting your privacy.  We understand that keeping your financial and personal information secure and confidential is critical to earning and keeping your trust.  It is important that you know that your trust is paramount to us.

 

This Privacy Policy covers any of your personal information obtained by PIT BULL BRANDS, LLC.  The name “PIT BULL BRANDS, LLC” refers to all of the brands and names listed above under which PIT BULL conducts business.  If we make any changes, we will post the new policy here, with a new “Last Modified:” date. 

 

This Policy applies to PIT BULL’s collection, use, storage, and transfer of information associated with PIT BULL’s sites, including www.pitbulltires.com, www.bravenoffroad.com and www.pitbullrc.com (collectively, “Site” or “Sites”). 

 

Personal Information

 

“Personal information” is information that can be associated with a specific person and could be used to identify that specific person whether from that data or from that data and other information that Tire Mart has or is likely to have access to.  We do not consider personal information to include information that has been made anonymous or aggregated so that it can no longer be used to identify a specific person, whether in combination with other information or otherwise.

Information Collected Directly From You

 

During a visit to our Site, you may provide us with information that uniquely identifies you including personal information such as names, postal and email addresses, telephone numbers, or credit card information.  We also receive your personal information when you sign up, access, or update your online account or profile, order products, enter a contest or voluntarily submit other information to us. 

 

We collect personal information from you in connection with the purchase of products from our Site in our legitimate interest in satisfying your order request and advertising our business.  Specifically, we collect personal information such as your name, billing and shipping address, phone number, and email address. This information is collected so that we can complete your purchase, including updating you on the status of your order and delivering the products you ordered.  We also use the email addresses you provide to send information about products or services that may be of interest to you.  For information we collect from you to complete a purchase, we retain that information as long as necessary to complete the order.  We will keep your name, address, and other location information until the product is delivered and for up to sixty (60) days after to ensure you receive your product.  We may keep your contact information for an additional year from the last time you contact us in order to send you marketing materials on new and related products to those you may have purchased, but you can opt out of these communications by following the directions found in the communications. 

 

Our partners on this Site may collect additional information during the purchase transaction on our behalf (including your credit card number, billing address, telephone numbers, and credit card information number, type of card, expiration date, and CVV number) also as part of our legitimate interest in processing payment for the purchase.  Your credit card information is only kept for as long as necessary to process the payment and then is deleted from our system. 

 

We collect your email address and your password when you create an account on our Site and use that information to confirm your identity when you log in to your account. We also collect your email address if you indicate on our Site that you would like to receive additional information about us and use that email address to send you that information.  We will keep your account information (including your name, login, and account preferences) for as long as you have an account with us to allow us to verify your identity and to provide you with the account information you request.  In addition, we may retain personal information from closed accounts to comply with national laws, prevent fraud, collect any fees owed, resolve disputes, troubleshoot problems, assist with any investigation, enforce our User Agreement and take other actions permitted or required by applicable national laws.

 

Our Sites are not directed to children under age 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13.  Children under 13 should not provide their personal information to us through our Sites, to customer service, or in writing.  If we learn that user information belonging to anyone under the age of 13 is stored on the Site, we will immediately delete such information and refrain from using it for any purpose.

 

Information Collected Automatically From You

 

Social Media:  You may choose to log into the Site via various social media or social networking services or friend our social media or social networking accounts.  By doing so, we can use these social networking services to provide you with a richer and more personalized experience with our products and services.  Other than your screen name, we receive no information from social media or social network sites other than your email address and do not collect or view any other information about you found there. 

 

Third-party social medial, social networking, and other linked sites are not under the control of Tire Mart and Tire Mart is not responsible for the contents of any linked site, including the privacy policies or tracking technologies they may use.  We encourage you to check the applicable privacy policy to determine how they will handle any personal information they collect from you.

 

Navigational Information:  When you visit our Site, we automatically collect information related to how you got to the Site, such as browser type and version, service-provider identification, the Site from which you came, the site to which you navigate after leaving our Site, and the country from which you are accessing the Site. We use the information we collect about your browsing on the Site to make sure that the Site, and its associated parts, is functioning properly, that the Site is displayed properly for your equipment and software, and that we can provide you with information useful to your location.

 

Cookies and Google Analytics:  This Site is also set up to install “cookies” on your computer to allow the Site to recognize users, customize their experience, or target marketing.  A cookie is a small text file that a website’s server places on a user’s computer, mobile phone, or other device.  The cookie provides information to the website’s server about the browsing activities of the user.  Cookies can also be used to recognize users and maintain data related to a particular individual, including passwords.

We may share the same information with our partners who assist us in completing your order and delivering your product to you.  The host of our e-commerce site, Shopify, may use your name, phone number and credit card information to assist us in processing credit or debit card payment for the transaction.

 

We may use your name, address, and email address to communicate with you about our products and services we believe you might find of interest and to administer promotions, surveys, contests and sweepstakes in which you might participate.

 

We also use the information automatically collected about you during your use of the website, as described above, to improve the effectiveness of our website, operations, mobile experience, or marketing efforts or as described elsewhere in this policy, to prevent against fraud and theft, and otherwise to protect our Site visitors and our business.

 

Our marketing efforts include the use of Google Analytics as described above.

California Privacy Rights

 

There are "do not track" or similar browser choices available to internet users with respect to online web activity.  This Site does not currently respond to “do not track” signals.  Given the present lack of consensus of what constitutes an informed election, appropriate trigger or breadth of scope of such choice, our Site will not operate any differently when a "do not track" signal is received.

All credit card and electronic payment transactions are processed through our gateway provider (Shopify) and are not stored or processed on our servers.  In utilizing this gateway, your payment transaction data and related information may be retained by the third parties involved in the banking or credit card transaction.  The use of your information by such third party(ies) will be subject to their applicable privacy policy(ies), which you should carefully review.  If you purchase items from us and utilize credit card or electronic payment services we share information with third party payment processors to the extent necessary to enable your payment.  Transmission and processing of data by Shopify is subject to their agreement and privacy policy.  Details are available at: https://www.shopify.com/legal/privacy
